Task List

ASP Nuke Tasks:

November 2003Articles

Integrated Help System

Currently, I am in the process of writing an integrated help system which will provide instructions for the administration areas of ASP Nuke. This will serve as a help reference and tutorial for people who are new to the Content Management System.

Code Release Schedule

My goal with the new release was to finalize the ASP Nuke module structure and to a large extent, I have accomplished this goal. It is not, however, as well-defined and flexible as I had hoped. It will allow us to easily build modules for the Nuke application.

Install & Setup FAQ

An install and setup FAQ has been created to help support users who are installing the ASP Nuke application on their servers. Our goal is to make the process of setting up and installing ASP Nuke as painless as possible.

FAQ Module Completed

We have just finished completing the FAQ module which allows you to develop Frequently Asked Question documents and post them on your site. You can create multiple documents each with an unlimitted number of questions & answers.

Documentation Module in Development

Currently, I am developing a documentation system where I can create reference documents for the ASP Nuke project. This will store web documents in the database and organize them in categories and books.

The real story behind building a corporate portal

I found an excellent article discussing the strategies and decision making process involved in developing a corporate web portal. This is pretty heady stuff and is hard to understand for anyone who hasn't worked extensively in a corporate environment.

I think computer viruses should count as life. I think it says something about human nature that the only form of life we have created so far is purely destructive. We've created life in our own image. -- Stephen Hawking
